Btooom is an online multiplayer game where you have to kill other people. What makes it different is that in this game you only have bombs, no weapons. But this on its own isn’t any special… Some weirdo kidnapped a bunch of people to create a real life version of Btooom with the same mechanics of the game.

Don’t give up after the first episode! Do you know an anime with absolutely spectacular art? Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, but this isn’t that amine. In this we are introduced to a mediocre animation with horrible shadowing. I mean, if you aren’t looking for it, it might be okay, but if you do the shadows in most cases aren’t realistic at all. However, the story is actually really well made. I have finally seen an anime where someone who is “diagnosed” as a psychopath is actually a psychopath. I have to note though, that after the 12th episode the story isn’t finished and there aren’t any plans for future continuation for the show, so if you want to finish it you have not other choice but to read the manga. (By the way, I liked the story so much that I added the manga adaptation to my read list.)
