Humans and demons are two sides of the same coin, as are Assiah (the Human world) and Gehenna (the Demond world), their respective worlds. The only way to travel between the realms is by the means of possession, like in ghost stories. However, Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, cannot find a suitable host to possess and therefore, he is imprisoned in Gehenna.
It‘s pretty hard to say anything about this anime, as it has neither really good or really bad traits. To best describe it, it is mediocre. Although there is a notable difference between season 1 and season 2. Season 2 is basically an ‚alternative‘ ending to season one, but it makes the show overall significantly better. If you like animes with demons in it, then sure, you can give this a try. You probably won‘t regret watching it, but I doubt that it would end up in your top 10 list.
