Hiyama Ren is an apathetic first-year who, despite having been appointed student council chairman, ignores everything around him, including his own academic achievements. Then, one day, fellow classmate and student councilmember Takagi Yuka (who has an unrequited crush on him) requests his help and support with the upcoming cultural festival. At the festival he found an “ability” which could help him change the world…
Well, the name of this manga could be “death note 2” without the death note, but without everything we liked about death note. The problem with this manga is all about the execution. For example, the protagonist is supposed to be a really smart person. However, he makes several questionable moves, but my problem isn’t this. My problem is that Hiyama (the protagonist) isn’t “that” smart, but more like his opponents are dumb as f***. If you enjoyed reading death note, you MIGHT like this one too. But don’t expect too much from it. Also, this manga never received an official translation. That means you’ll have to stick with the fan made translations, which are.. Well, not the best.
